Request Time

Request Time broadcasts three times per week on Radio Horton on Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 7pm8pm. Our dedicated request collectors come and visit you, the patients and your friends and families, and take down the requests that you want to listen to in hospital. The requests are later played on one of our three request programmes.

Why not Request a song on behalf of a friend or relative who may be staying in hospital, or is perhaps listening online at home feeling under the weather? Simply complete the form below.

Meet your Requests Team

Once our Ward Visitors have circled the wards, they return to the studio and collate the tracks and information needed for our Request Time presenters and ensure that these are played at appropriate times, and where necessary, with a message or dedication. We are always looking for Ward Visitors who are bright, energetic and enthusiastic about cheering up our family of patients within the Horton General Hospital.

If you think you could spare a couple of hours a week in helping the Request Time Team in any way, shape or form, why not get involved? Contact us for details of our next Volunteer Open day – we’d love to discuss your specific interests!
