Bobby Bragg passes away

It is with great sadness to deliver the tragic news of the recent passing of Radio Horton’s Vice President, Bobby Bragg who recently lost his battle with a long term illness.

Bobby worked on virtually every game show, sitcom and chat show produced by popular TV broadcasters such as the BBC and ITV, to date in excess of 4,000 programmes. A highly talented entertainer, he has worked on such diverse shows including Supermarket Sweep (it was his voice you heard doing the commentary during the trolley dash), Gladiators, Keeping Up Appearances, The National Lottery, Family Fortunes, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Harry Hill’s TV Burp, to name but a few.

A friend of co-founder, Ted Hanson MBE, Bobby was an avid supporter of Banbury’s hospital radio station and spent many a time at the studios presenting exclusive shows and entertaining the patients here at Banbury’s Horton General Hospital, also joining the team of hospital broadcasters at events and functions.

The Radio Horton Team would like to express their sincere condolences to Bobby’s family.
