Cornbury Music Festival announced earlier this year that the festival will come to an end in 2017. The finalé, held in Great Tew Park, near Chipping Norton is set to be a memorable occasion with a fantastic line up, which welcomes back artists who have performed at the festival in previous years.
Hugh Phillimore, Director of Cornbury Festival recently dropped in to chat to Radio Horton’s Elizabeth MacLeod on Live at Three, to discuss his memories of the festival, and to tease what can be expected for spectators at the event, dubed “The Fabulous Finalé”. Hear the interview again below:
Household names including Bryan Adams, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Pretenders, Right Said Fred, Jack Savoretti, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Tom Chaplin (The Voice of Keane) are set to perform, alongside up and coming artists including British modern-country duo, Ward Thomas and Black Dylan from Denmark.
Earlier in the year, Radio Horton’s Lisa Simmons spoke with Greg Churchouse of Scouting For Girls, who will also be performing a set. You can listen to Lisa’s exclusive interview here.
