Radio Horton says goodbye to a dear friend

It is with great sadness that Radio Horton has had to say goodbye to one of its loyal members – Andrew Wildman – after he passed away in June.

Andrew spent many years volunteering at the station and became one our most popular team members. With the immortal words: “It’s Andrew live, from two until five,” he presented his quirky and fun music programme every Tuesday afternoon until relatively recently.

The 31 year old football fan was also a regular member of the Monday Night Request Show team with John and Maria Mayo, John Webb and Anthony Brown – where requests are played on behalf Horton General Hospital patients. He was also a regular outside events, including the Brackley Town Fair.

Andrew’s funeral was well attended and held recently at St John the Baptist Church, Bodicote.

We will miss Andrew very much. The station and all its members send their sincere condolences to his family and friends.
